In the last six months, tensions have risen between Israel and Iran. Israel has assassinated numerous Iranian nuclear scientists and Iranian military officials, including the founder of Iran’s missile program, Major General Hassan Moghaddam.

So far, Iran has not retaliated against Israel’s repeated acts of aggression and terrorism. But the spirit of revenge is alive in Tehran. While it is hard to tell what kind of manifestation Iran’s spiritual anger will take, everyone realizes that a retaliation is in order and completely justified.

Throughout Israel’s campaign of terror and provocations against Iran, the Obama administration has remained in the background, quietly minding its own business.

Washington’s compliance towards Israel has puzzled and aggravated many people, including world leaders who believe the time has come to get tough with Israel. Anyone who is paying the least bit of attention to statements on Israel and Iran by U.S. government officials know they are contradictory and anti-reality.

American author and journalist Mark Perry, who made serious waves in the Israel-Iran debate last month with his piece in Foreign Policy called, ‘False Flag,’ says that official U.S. government statements are written for a number of domestic and foreign audiences. So when Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told CBS’ Face The Nation last month that Iran is not building a nuclear bomb, he wanted to reassure Iranian leaders that things are under control in Washington and that the crazies are not totally guiding America’s Iran policy.

As far as words go, the Obama administration has proven that it can pull off the high-wire act of balancing U.S. interests and Israel’s ambitions. But this is a deadly game that Washington is playing.President Obama is gambling with the lives of Americans and citizens around the world.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, the former United States National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter, said that President Obama should make a public statement in which he warns Iran against raising tensions and guarantees that America will not attack Iran or allow any attack to take place. This move would isolate an already weakened Israel and force its lunatic leaders to reflect on its current terrorist strategy towards Iran and rethink Israel’s overall Middle East policy.

Brzezinski offered his advice to President Obama and top administration officials onthe Chris Matthews show on February 3, 2012. Here is the exchange between Matthews and Brzezinski:

Matthews: Is there something that could be worse than Iran having a weapon. In other words, when you make the calculation on consequences, is there any way you would decide ‘Well, alright, we can live with a nuclear weapon in the hands of the Iranians’ because it’s better than what?

Brzezinski: The answer is very simple: war. Because it’s very easy to start a war, it’s very difficult to end it on your own terms. And it tends to produce unforeseen consequences.

Look, the Israelis have the so-called nuclear deterrent. We have an enormous nuclear deterrent. The notion that somehow or other the Iranians, who have existed for three thousand years, are going to commit public suicide the first moment they have a bomb is really ludicrous. Gary Sick, who is a major significant expert on Iran, has produced a list since 1994 of annual Israeli predictions that next year Iran will have the bomb. So I think we can take their predictions with a little bit of caution.

Moreover, their public opinion is not first strike. The majority of American Jews are not first strike. . .I think we’re dealing here with a right-wing government with rather one-sided notions of what security is, and perhaps with a somewhat irresponsible attitude about the consequences of their actions for us. Because the Iranians, if attacked, are not going to retaliate effectively against Israel because they can not. They’ll retaliate against us because they’ll see us as the sponsors. So, our troops in Afghanistan will pay the price and our disengagement may become very difficult to pursue. We’ll have a mess in Iraq again. There could be difficulties in the Persian Gulf. The price of oil could go up. The global economy could be hurt. American taxpayers will pay five bucks per gallon. The consequences for us could be extremely serious.

Matthews: But Dr. Brzezinski can Israel survive if it’s known by its own people it protects, perhaps future immigrants to Israel, that they’re going into a country that’s under a basically a firing zone from Iran, that any moment one of the Mullahs could decide to attack, maybe irrationally.

Brzezinski: Look, we lived in that situation for several decades, with an enemy who could wipe out much of America in a few minutes.

They don’t have the bomb yet. We’re negotiating with them. I think part of the Israelis’ concern is that we may make an arrangement with the Iranians that doesn’t humiliate them, and doesn’t force them to capitulate totally.

Matthews: What’s in U.S. interest?

Brzezinski: I think in the U.S. interest it is absolutely imperative that Israel be secure, but in a Middle East which is not at war. And we can accomplish that. We can first of all issue a public statement that any threat by Iran against any state in the Middle East will be viewed as a threat against us. That in itself would be a very major deterrent. And I think we can at the same time continue negotiating with Iranians perhaps about some arrangement in which they’ll continue their nuclear program but under effective international inspection. And some progress is moving in that direction.

Matthews: How do you save their pride?

Brzezinski: Well, by agreeing to them having a nuclear program.

Matthews: It’s not weaponized?

Brzezinski: It’s not weaponized. The enrichment is not up to a certain level that really represents a danger.

Matthews: Okay, what does Israel get out of that deal? Do they get a year or two or three years of safety?

Brzezinski: Look, if they have a guarantee from theUnited States they have as much safety as Western Europe, or as Japan, or as South Korea. I think we can do it. But we have to be forthright. And our president and secretary of defense also have to speak forthrightly about this and make it clear we do not want that war, it’s in nobody’s interest.

If Brzezinski’s narrative—that Israel is pulling and dragging America into a war with unpredictable consequences that it does not want—is correct and true then that makes Israel the clear villain in this global drama.

So according to this narrative, America = the subservient dog in the house; and Israel = the rogue wild wolf on the frontier.

But is this the reality, or is it clever CIA/Pentagon propaganda?

The biggest question on the minds of the people of the world is not will a vilified and isolated Israel attack Iran, but, does Israel control Washington, or does Washington control Israel? And by Washington I mean the globalist new world order terrorists in the CIA and the Pentagon who were behind 9/11, and the assassination of JFK.

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad raised this question back in August 2010 when he challenged President Obama to a live television debate. He said: “Somebody should answer questions whether the US government is dominated by the Zionists or the Zionist regime is controlled by the US government.”

Journalist and author Russ Baker rejects the popular notion that Israel is leading a bewildered Pentagon over the cliff of Armageddon by attacking Iran. In his article, “Is Israel Really Iran’s Main Adversary? The West Doth Protest Too Much,” Baker writes:

“History, and current pressures on the Pentagon to justify its budget in a time of austerity, suggest that the Pentagon is not really opposed to an attack on Iran, only very shrewdly letting someone else get the music started.Make Israel the villain. If there’s one thing that the Left relates to even more than suspicion of the Pentagon: it’s default vilification of Israel as the world’s leading lone wolf miscreant.”

Baker is right.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the Pentagon, CIA, and MI6 are letting Israel and the Zionists take the blame for the coming global war.

The two staged events that started this world war–the Iranian Islamic Revolution and the 9/11 attacks–were both the products of the shadow CIA and MI6 that exist separately within the official CIA and MI6.

Mossad is only a secondary actor in this game.

I’m not vilifying Israel because it wasn’t Israel that put Khomeini and Islamic radicals in power in Iran in 1979 who cause unnecessary trouble by describing the Israeli government as the “regime occupying Jerusalem.” I’m not vilifying Israel because it wasn’t Israel that staged the hostage crisis in Iran after the Islamic revolution. Both of those manufactured events were engineered by shadow CIA-MI6 operatives and their well-placed friends in Iran’s intelligence and security services. The facts prove it.

But they want us to blame Israel. Why? Because the globalist architects and cultural programmers who want to create a clash of civilizations need a scapegoat. And they tell themselves: who better to blame than the historically persecuted and ancient Jewish people? They expect people to dump their hate and anger on Israel, and absolve the globalist rascals in Washington and London of their sins. Well, I’m not buying it, and neither should you.

World War III isn’t about Israel against the world.

World War II isn’t about Israel provoking an unwanted conflict with Iran and dragging a reluctant Pentagon for the wild ride.

World War III is about the Satanic international banksters and globalist nuclear terrorists in Washington and London sacrificing all three nations involved in the conflict: Israel, Iran, and America.

Let’s not be blinded by anti-Semitism. Let’s not overlook the fact that the globalist genocidal mass murderers who control the CIA, MI6, and Pentagon have plotted a third world war between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel since the Soviet Union collapsed, and probably even before then.

Trusting the CIA, MI6, and Pentagon more than the Mossad is a very risky gamble. History shows we would be foolish to take this risk. The narrative the CIA/Pentagon propaganda machine is putting out makes Israel the sole bad guy and abstains them from the guilt and shame of being the murderers behind World War Three and Nuclear Armageddon.

This fractured narrative blurs the truth and shields the globalist terrorists from public wrath. If we are to believe the CIA and Pentagon, Israel and Iran are the demonic villains, and America is the reluctant but stern warrior and international steward of the Persian Gulf and global economy. It is very sweet and touching. Very Hollywoodesque.

This is how the CIA/Pentagon plot reads: Israel and Iran create a huge mess that pulls in America after it decided to leave Iraq and Afghanistan, two newly created democracies. Once again, the blood of Americans must be spilled to resolve the crisis, bring the two parties to the table, and create a lasting peace in the Middle East.

And this is the planned global popular reaction to the telling of this mythical tale: Wow. The U.S. military is so impressive. America is so heroic. Washington is saving civilization. What wonderful people are Pentagon generals and CIA officers. May their hearts be blessed. May they continue to teach the Jews and the Persians how to live together in peace. We hope they never leave the Middle East because their wisdom, maturity, and grace will always be needed in this region of the world.

If only it were true.

If only Pentagon generals and CIA officers weren’t cold-blooded bastards and traitors who would kill an American president in an instant if he crossed their interests.

If only Pentagon generals and CIA officers didn’t write documents like Operation Northwoods that say staging false flag attacks in the United States is okay.

CONGRESSIONAL PRO-ISRAEL SUPPORTERS TELL OBAMA: TO ‘AVOID WAR’ BE PREPARED TO WAGE IT

Bibi Netanyahu is a corrupt, anti-democratic, ultra-nationalist Israeli leader.  But one thing he is indisputably good at is political manipulation both of his own population and world opinion.  In the run up to his coronation in Washington where he arrives shortly, he has superbly laid groundwork that has put Barack Obama in a vise.  Last week, he invited five powerful U.S. senators (only the Republicans who met him are now talking publicly, which suits Bibi perfectly) to have lunch in Jerusalem.  Now those senators are calling Obama a wimp and a girl if he won’t stand up to the Ayatollahs and lay down red lines that specify when we will go to war against Iran.

Here’s one the Israelis are demanding:

Israeli officials are demanding that Iran agree to halt all its enrichment of uranium in the country, and that the suspension be verified by United Nations inspectors, before the West resumes negotiations with Tehran on its nuclear program.

That would mean that Iran would agree to virtually everything Israel wants BEFORE there was any negotiation.  So what would the purpose of any negotiation be?  This is the sort of  foreign policy that Israel is used to conducting with its neighbors.  We tell you want to do and you sign on the dotted line.  If not, we bomb you back to the Stone Age.  Take your pick.

One of the chosen few lunch guests, Sen. Lindsay Graham made this disingenuous, Alice in Wonderland style comment:

“It’s not just about the Jewish vote and 2012,” Mr. Graham added. “It’s about reassuring people who want to avoid war that the United States will do what’s necessary.”

First, of course it’s about the Jewish vote and 2012.  EVERYTHING is about those two things.  As for the sentence that follows, how to you “avoid war” by agreeing with an ally to fight one (which essentially what Graham and Bibi are after)?

The Telegraph’s Israel correspondent puts the case for war that Bibi will make to Barack even more baldly:

Exuding confidence, Mr Netanyahu effectively brings with him an ultimatum, demanding that unless the president makes a firm pledge to use US military force to prevent Iran acquiring a nuclear bomb, Israel may well take matters into its own hands within months.

The British journalist channels the views of Ehud Barak, delusional though they may be:

According to sources close to the Israeli security establishment, military planners have concluded that never before has the timing for a unilateral military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities been so auspicious.

It is an assessment based on the unforeseen consequences of the Arab Spring, particularly in Syria, which has had the result of significantly weakening Iran’s clout in the region…With Syria preoccupied by a near civil war and Hamas in recent weeks choosing to leave Iran’s orbit and realign itself with Egypt, Iran’s options suddenly look considerably more limited, boosting the case for war.

There is a typical egregious error of fact and analysis in the above paragraph. Hamas has left Syria’s orbit, but not Iran’s. In fact, Ismail Haniye just completed a visit to Iran in which both parties expressed support for each others respective struggles. And even with Syria weakened, this doesn’t mean that Iran can’t offer Hamas support (and it will).

Here is more hocus-pocus undoubtedly proffered to the Telegraph by Ehud Barak (though the source is only described as “close to defense ministry sources”):

“Iran’s deterrent has been significantly defanged,” a source close to Israel’s defence chiefs said. “As a result some of those opposed to military action have changed their minds. They sense a golden opportunity to strike Iran at a significantly reduced cost.”

There’s that infamous “some” so popular with politicians and journalists who can’t be bothered with specific facts to support their arguments. I know of no major figures either in Israel or the U.S. who’ve gone from the camp opposing war to the one supporting war. Until Barak can offer more specific than this, he’s bluffing big-time.

Here’s another false statement. In an example of sloppy journalism, Adrian Blomfield, the reporter doesn’t make clear whether this is his view or Barak’s. Whose ever view it is, it’s wrong:

…It is not the “doomsday scenario” that some feared, and a growing number in the security establishment are willing to take on the risk if it means preventing the rise of a nuclear power that has spoken repeatedly of Israel’s destruction.

Note the “growing number” of unnamed military experts who agree with war-hawk Barak that the cost to Israel, which in the past he’s dismissed at most “500 lives,” will be bearable.  Second, this Israeli attack will NOT prevent the rise of Iran as a nuclear power as he claims.  In fact, Obama himself in his interview with Jeffrey Goldberg, noted that Israel shouldn’t attack because that would be likely to accelerate Iran’s nuclear program.  Even those experts who favor war don’t claim it will destroy Iran’s WMD capacity.  It will at mostdelay it by perhaps one to three years.  As for “speaking of Israel’s destruction,” many Israeli leaders have spoken extravagantly about the need to destroy the Iranian regime.  Barak’s argument is essentially that if a country says they hate you so much they wish you would fade into oblivion, you may strike them a savage blog and claim it’s self-defense.

Another lie in Barak’s account of Iranian capabilities is that within six to nine months “ Iran will have acquired sufficient technological expertise to build a nuclear weapon.”  Iran hasn’t yet developed a nuclear warhead capable of carrying a bomb to its destination nor a trigger that would detonate the weapon.  The prevailing view among nuclear experts is that if Iran engages in any such research or development (which in itself is not a given) this will take Iran far longer than nine months, possibly two years or more.

Blomfield again sloppily substitutes real facts with atmospherics claiming Israelis are prepared for war:

Among the Israeli public, there is a sense of growing sense that a confrontation with Iran is inevitable. Overheard conversations in bars and restaurants frequently turn to the subject, with a growing popular paranoia fed by the escalation in bomb shelter construction, air raid siren testing and exercises simulating civilian preparedness for rocket strikes.

If the reporter had bothered to consult actual polls of Israeli opinion which I’ve recently featured here, he’d find that the Israeli public is just as divided about attacking Iran as the American public is.  In fact, there is no consensus in either country for an attack, especially not now.  A plurality in both places supports continuing sanctions and a majority does not support war now.

Returning to the strategic calculations of Netanyahu and Barak, wars historically have generally proven useful to Israel despite the losses in human life.  Even wars in which Israel paid the heaviest price (1948 and 1973 in particular) advanced its interests in significant ways.  After Israel’s wars (even when it does not win them decisively or at all), it is generally left at least for an extended period of time to pursue its strategic goals relatively unfettered.  In no war since 1973, has Israel paid a heavy price.  It has gotten used to considering war as an instrument of policy and a means of intimidating both the victims of its wars and potential future adversaries.  It has gotten used to wars in which it gets its way without serious consequences.  It’s gotten spoiled.  There will come a war when Israel is brought up short and pays a price.  It may be the next one–with Iran.

Israel’s need to preserve regional dominance is, in large part, the reason for the current imbroglio with Iran.  The latter is a real regional threat because it is the first state in the region that may be pursuing nuclear capability.  It also is a state that vociferously opposes Israel and its policies.  Israel’s strategic approach has demanded not just parity with its enemies but overwhelming superiority.  Having an Iran able to stand up to Israel as an equal is unthinkable.  It must be cut down to size.  At all costs.

My view of Israel’s approach is that it is wrong, but as a sovereign state it has a right to pursue its interests, as misguidedly as they may be interpreted.  But my real problem here is with how the U.S. acts.  If we allow ourselves to be sucked into aiding Israel, or being instrumental in Israel’s long-term strategic goals of humbling Iran, we become an accessory after the fact, instead of a great power pursuing our own sovereign interests.  For us to do so would not just mean betraying our own national interests, it would be aiding and abetting Israel’s war pathology.

Bibi wants a war.  Bibi needs a war.  He mistakenly believes Israel needs a war.  Make no mistake: this war will be a military adventure, not a pragmatically conceived, carefully executed operation.  It will end in Israel failing to achieve its long-term objectives just as its last two wars did.  It may end catastrophically for both sides.  The U.S. must not be party to this.

It's a matter of time before U.S. gets tired of Israel

Israel doesn't know when to stop, and it could pay dearly as a result.

An elephant and an ant will meet in Washington on Monday for a critical summit. But wait, who here is the elephant and who the ant? Who is the superpower and who the patronage state?

A new chapter is being written in the history of nations. Never before has a small country dictated to a superpower; never before has the chirp of the cricket sounded like a roar; never has the elephant resembled the ant - and vice versa. No Roman province dared tell Julius Caesar what to do, no tribe ever dreamed of forcing Genghis Khan to act in accordance with its own tribal interests. Only Israel does this. On Monday, when Barack Obama and Benjamin Netanyahu meet at the White House, it will be hard to tell which one is the real leader of the world.For the past few years the Israeli cricket has been chirping "Iran," and the world responds with a muffled echo. It isn't that Iran is only an Israeli problem, but North Korea could endanger Japan just as much as Iran endangers Israel - and the world has not come running to Japan's side. Netanyahu's Israel has dictated the global agenda as no small state has ever done before, just as its international standing is at its nadir and its dependence on the United States at a zenith.

To the miracles of the rebirth of the Hebrew language after two millennia, the establishment of a thriving country of immigrants in the Land of Israel in such a short span of time and the invention of the kibbutz, we must now add another, much more deserving of a place on the list of the seven wonders of the world than the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, than the Roman Colosseum or the Great Wall of China: Israel's wondrous power in the face of the United States. There is no rational explanation.

Israel features in the American presidential campaign as no other foreign country does, with the candidates vying for the sobriquet of "biggest Israel-lover" to the point where it often seems to be the main issue. Rich Jews like Sheldon Adelson donate enormous war chests to candidates for the sole purpose of buying their support for Israel, while the president of the United States, who won with a message of change, was forced to fold up, at lightning speed, the flag of planting peace in the Middle East simply because Israel said "No." If last week a British member of the House of Lords was forced to resign from Parliament after daring to criticize Israel, in the United States she would never have even considered making her views known.

Israel is teaching the world a lesson in international relations: Size doesn't matter. When it comes to foreign policy Europe toes the U.S. line much more than tiny Israel does. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also taught the world that it's possible to tell the American president "No," bluntly and explicitly, and not only remain alive but even to gain in strength. So Obama begged for an extension of the settlement construction freeze - so what? Netanyahu will take care of it: He took the issue off the agenda.

When he goes to the White House on Monday he will make a new demand: Either you or we (attack Iran ), putting the leader of the free world in a tight spot. Obama does not want to ensnare his country in another war or in an energy crisis, but when Netanyahu hath demanded, who will not fear?

This would appear to be a good thing, a reason to marvel at the prime minister. A cat may look at a king, but it doesn't always end well. One day, perhaps, even in brainwashed America the questions may begin: another war? Is it right to put more American soldiers in harm's way for an interest that is more Israeli than it is American? And perhaps we should also make demands from the small protege?

For now, Obama may be unable to prohibit Israel from a military adventure in Iran without offering serious quid pro quo. After all, we are talking about the prime minister of Israel. But one day the rope could snap and the whole thing could blow up in the face of power-drunk Israel: Israel doesn't know when to stop, and it could pay dearly as a result.

Silvia Cattori : Le fait que les correspondants états-uniens envoyés en Israël soient, comme vous le soulignez, « quasiment tous des Juifs pro-israéliens » est certainement un problème. Mais, à votre avis, ne voyons-nous pas le même phénomène dans les pays européens ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : L’Europe a eu une attitude partagée jusqu’à il y a quelques années. Dans un passé pas très lointain, l’Europe tendait davantage à sympathiser avec les Palestiniens. Dans les années 70 et 80, l’Italie était manifestement plus pro-arabe que pro-israélienne. L’attitude européenne a changé après l’attaque du 11 septembre 2001, quand s’est déchaînée dans le monde cette politique anti-arabe. L’attaque a été identifiée comme une offensive arabe contre le monde occidental. Après ce virage une hostilité croissante envers l’Islam s’est diffusée dans le monde occidental.

L’islamophobie en Europe a été transmise par les États-Unis. Aujourd’hui, l’Europe -la politique des pays européens alignés après le 11 septembre sur les positions états-uniennes et la guerre d’Irak- poursuit une politique anti-arabe. Cette islamophobie croissante est en grande partie alimentée, partagée, soutenue par Israël. Il faut savoir que les Européens les plus racistes, comme le Hollandais Gert Wilders, et d’autres racistes nordiques, sont aujourd’hui considérés comme des héros en Israël. Gert Wilders est régulièrement invité à tenir des conférences même dans les universités israéliennes.

On a cette attitude aussi dans les médias européens ; un peu moins dans les médias britanniques. Mais, en effet, pour de nombreuses raisons, Israël est arrivé à imposer son langage, son récit des épisodes proches et moyen orientaux. Les Israéliens ont un grand pouvoir, ils ont une grande capacité de propagande. Les Palestiniens ne disposent pas de cette force. Les Arabes n’ont pas cette capacité. Israël a pris le contrôle petit à petit. Il y a employé beaucoup de temps. Il a maintenant pratiquement le contrôle des communautés juives en Europe et aux États-Unis. Autrefois ce n’était pas comme ça. Autrefois les communautés juives critiquaient la politique d’Israël. Ainsi, si nous pensons à la propagande en faveur d’Israël, celle-ci n’est pas faite par des émigrés : elle est faite par des Juifs états-uniens qui en partagent la culture, le langage. Ce ne sont pas des étrangers. Les Juifs états-uniens sont pleinement intégrés, membres du Congrès, journalistes. La propagande pro-israélienne est renforcée de ce fait.

Silvia Cattori : Quand ce contrôle politique d’Israël sur le monde juif a-t-il pris ce virage ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : Il faut rappeler qu’à l’origine le sionisme était seulement hébergé dans le monde juif, surtout chez les Juifs états-uniens. Il a fallu beaucoup de temps pour que les sionistes arrivent à s’affirmer. Ceci, entre autres, est une des origines historiques de l’arrogance notoire, de la propension à la violence du sionisme. Le sionisme est devenu arrogant et politiquement violent justement à cause de son expérience aux États-Unis, quand il devait s’affirmer dans le judaïsme états-unien. Surtout après la deuxième guerre mondiale. Les Juifs du monde entier ont toujours eu une attitude très favorable et très sentimentale à l’égard d’Israël. Si l’on doit parler de virage, c’est après la guerre de juin 1967 qu’il y a eu un virage important. Cette guerre est très importante dans l’histoire d’Israël. Elle a créé dans la mentalité israélienne un sentiment de sécurité et de puissance. Ainsi il y a toujours eu une dialectique entre Israël et le judaïsme, quant à celui qui devait dominer l’autre. Mais après la guerre de 1967, les gouvernements israéliens ont décidé que c’était à eux qu’il revenait de dominer le monde juif. Cela s’est fait petit à petit.

Silvia Cattori : Donc, à votre avis, la propagande des autorités israéliennes, qui a toujours consisté à dénigrer et déshumaniser les Arabes et les musulmans, sert, entre autres, à impliquer et à obtenir l’adhésion totale des Juifs au projet sioniste de domination et de destruction du peuple palestinien ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : La peur des peuples musulmans a grandi après le 11 septembre. Cet événement a permis aux forces israéliennes de désigner le monde musulman comme un ennemi historique du monde occidental, ennemi avec lequel on ne peut pas faire la paix. En Europe, pour des raisons historiques, qui remontent aux Croisades, il y a cette peur ancestrale des musulmans. Après le 11 septembre il a été facile de relancer cette peur.

Silvia Cattori : Cette propagande israélienne contre le monde arabe et musulman a réussi jusqu’à présent, avec l’aide de nos journalistes et gouvernements, à masquer de graves crimes comme l’épuration ethnique, l’annexion de Jérusalem, les massacres qui se répètent. Il est difficile de comprendre que des crimes aussi graves et massifs ne posent pas un problème moral aux Juifs qui soutiennent l’État qui les commet en leur nom. Nous voyons même des journalistes progressistes, des militants de groupes « Juifs pour la paix » tenir un discours qui « épargne » et dans un certain sens « légitime » le projet raciste de l’État exclusivement juif. Seuls quelques petits groupes marginaux ont toujours soutenu clairement le droit au retour des Palestiniens [2]. Ceci n’a-t-il pas toujours été une manière de légitimer la politique d’un État dont le projet raciste, dont l’idéologie violente, a vidé la Palestine de ses habitants ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : C’est extrêmement compliqué. Si l’on s’en tient à des phases de la négociation israélo-palestinienne, les négociateurs palestiniens eux-mêmes disent implicitement que si l’on faisait un État palestinien en Cisjordanie et à Gaza, le retour des réfugiés serait compris dans l’État palestinien ; qu’ils se contenteraient d’une déclaration de la part d’Israël d’une assomption de responsabilité historique du drame des Palestiniens chassés en 1948 ; qu’Israël pourrait ne laisser entrer que quelques dizaines de milliers de Palestiniens. Dans le plan de paix proposé par le roi d’Arabie saoudite en 2002, confirmé en 2007, n’est pas mentionné explicitement le droit au retour, mais une solution négociée entre Israël et les Palestiniens.

Dans l’hypothèse d’une solution « deux États » le problème est de savoir si cette solution « deux États » est possible, avec Israël à l’intérieur des frontières de 67, et un État palestinien en Cisjordanie et à Gaza. Pendant ces dix dernières années, on a continué à parler de « deux États pour deux peuples ». Ce qu’on a vu, peut-être définitivement en 2010, c’est que maintenant cette solution n’est absolument pas possible, parce qu’Israël a pris la moitié des terres confisquées en 1967 pour construire des colonies.

Israël ne cédera jamais ces territoires palestiniens. Ce qui est apparu c’est qu’Israël n’est pas pressé : qu’Israël veut arriver, avec le temps, à la domination de tout le territoire. La domination totale de la Cisjordanie et de Gaza. Ce qui implique de fait, par conséquent, l’expulsion des Palestiniens qui y vivent.

Silvia Cattori : L’Autorité de Ramallah, et les dirigeants de l’OLP -compromis dans des « processus de paix » qui ont permis à Israël de continuer à coloniser la Cisjordanie - ont renoncé aux droits légitimes de leur peuple, en pensant obtenir en échange leur « État » palestinien. Arriveront-ils à avoir cet État ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : Oui, en effet. Même le président Yasser Arafat était sur cette position : si nous faisons un État palestinien en Cisjordanie et à Gaza, nous ne prétendons plus au droit au retour. Dans les négociations avec Israël le droit au retour a été utilisé comme une carte négociable. Ce qui était important pour les dirigeants palestiniens était d’avoir leur État en Cisjordanie et à Gaza. Cet État désormais n’existera jamais plus. Il est possible que ces dirigeants palestiniens soient aujourd’hui en collusion avec Israël. Qu’ils soient donc pratiquement des fantoches d’Israël. Après toutes ces négociations ils n’ont absolument rien obtenu. Les conditions de vie des Palestiniens ont empiré.

N’oublions pas que depuis qu’en 1993 a eu lieu la rencontre entre Yasser Arafat et Yitzhak Rabin, la fameuse poignée de main à la Maison Blanche, les Israéliens ont continué à exproprier des terres en Cisjordanie, à chasser les Palestiniens de leurs maisons pour développer leurs colonies. En ces 17 années on a amplement démontré qu’Israël n’a pas la moindre intention de faire une paix qui porterait à la création d’un État palestinien en Cisjordanie et Gaza.

Quand les dirigeants israéliens parlent d’un État palestinien ils ne disent jamais où il devrait naître. Pour eux, l’État palestinien est la Jordanie. Leur objectif est de renverser la monarchie jordanienne et d’envoyer là-bas tous les Palestiniens. Voilà la doctrine : la Jordanie est la Palestine pour les Israéliens. Tout leur discours se trouve là. Les Israéliens n’ont jamais été disposés à restituer les territoires conquis en 1967. Jamais. Donc la question du droit au retour pour Israël ne se pose pas comme un objectif réaliste. Le problème est celui-ci : la formule des deux États n’est plus possible. Alors y aura-t-il un État qui comprend Israël, l’actuelle Cisjordanie et Gaza ? Il faut voir si cet État sera un État unique (binational), comme dit Ilan Pappé. Ou bien si ce sera un État dominé par les Israéliens dans lequel les Palestiniens ne seront jamais démographiquement en majorité mais seront soumis à la « domination juive ». Ils pourraient même en être chassés…

Silvia Cattori : Cette éventualité, selon vous, est-elle probable ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : Je pense qu’Israël - même si c’est une grande puissance mondiale, une puissance militaire, nucléaire et technologique - est en réalité en train d’aller au désastre. Vers un collapsus intérieur. Les indices en sont cette folie croissante de la classe dirigeante israélienne. On a vu cette dernière année justement l’escalade de racisme en Israël. Racisme envers les Arabes citoyens d’Israël. Il y a en Israël des manifestations de racisme contre les Arabes, de xénophobie envers les travailleurs étrangers, de xénophobie envers la composante russe. Il y a des fractures croissantes dans le monde juif entre ashkénazes et séfarades, entre blancs et noirs falashas. Toute la société israélienne est en train de se fragmenter, de couler et de se dégrader en un complexe de haine raciale envers tout le monde. Israël a une attitude de plus en plus hostile envers le reste du monde. Un rien suffit pour créer des incidents diplomatiques.

Alors que des générations de jeunes juifs états-uniens sont de plus en plus désenchantées vis-à-vis d’Israël. Ce qui signifie qu’Israël risque le collapsus, si des choses extérieures n’interviennent pas. La classe dirigeante israélienne est d’un niveau de plus en plus bas. L’intelligentsia israélienne est de plus en plus basse. Israël ne produit pas de culture, ne produit pas d’idées, ne produit pas de projets. Il produit des armes, des installations électroniques ; mais il ne produit pas de culture. Sa classe politique est de plus en plus corrompue économiquement, culturellement et dans ses coutumes. Un ex-chef de l’État israélien a été condamné pour violence sexuelle. Ceci est exemplaire de la corruption israélienne actuelle.

Israël est voué au déclin. Ce déclin peut être accéléré par le fait qu’Israël est complètement lié aux États-Unis. Aujourd’hui sa politique se révèle très dangereuse parce que la situation intérieure états-unienne est de plus en plus grave. L’avenir d’Israël est plein de doutes.

Silvia Cattori : Et pourtant Israël n’apparaît pas comme étant dans une position de faiblesse mais de domination. Il ne souffre pas de crise économique. Sa monnaie est forte et stable. Il continue à tenir tête au monde ; à ne pas céder de terrain et à poursuivre, sans être perturbé, sa politique de purification ethnique des Palestiniens. Il est même en mesure de revendiquer des concessions de plus en plus humiliantes, pour rendre impossible toute solution aux problèmes créés à ses voisins arabes. Malgré la gravité des crimes commis depuis plus de 60 ans, Israël non seulement n’est pas sanctionné mais est courtisé par nos gouvernements. Si Israël peut se comporter de façon aussi arrogante et violente, défier les grandes puissances, il doit y avoir une raison secrète qui a permis à tous les gouvernements israéliens de défier quiconque. Comment interprétez-vous cette arrogance croissante, sans précédent en politique internationale ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : C’est vrai. Les fondements de cette arrogance sont multiples. Un de ces fondements est la puissance atomique israélienne. Israël est peut-être la quatrième puissance atomique dans le monde. Dès les années 70, c’est-à-dire il y a presque 40 ans, on disait qu’Israël était capable d’exercer une menace nucléaire contre l’Union soviétique. Ceci expliquait pourquoi l’Union soviétique avait toujours été très prudente vis-à-vis d’Israël. Il y a quelques années seulement, un historien militaire israélien d’origine hollandaise, Martin Van Cleveld, chercheur renommé et auteur d’études militaires, déclara dans une interview qu’Israël avait des armes atomiques pointées contre toutes les capitales du monde occidental. On parle beaucoup de cette doctrine Samson [3]. L’idée est celle-ci : si Israël se trouvait dans une situation telle qu’il lui semble être sur le point de succomber, alors il entraînerait le monde avec lui. Avant de succomber il lancerait des bombes atomiques sur l’Europe, sur le monde arabe et sur les États-Unis. Des scientifiques israéliens ont plusieurs fois affirmé que les Israéliens peuvent frapper n’importe quel point du globe.

Connaissant l’histoire et la mentalité israéliennes cette attitude peut apparaître rationnelle dans le sens d’une argumentation destinée à forcer les autres pays à respecter la volonté d’Israël. Après tout, un pays européen peut se demander pourquoi soutenir la cause des Palestiniens, si on risque d’être attaqué et bombardé.

Le fait qu’Israël puisse exercer un chantage atomique, direct ou indirect, qu’il puisse menacer de faire une guerre aux pays arabes ou à l’Iran en utilisant des bombes atomiques, déchaînerait une crise mondiale. Les possibilités d’utiliser directement un chantage atomique sont très nombreuses. Ceci est un fait, je dirais, fondamental.

Puis, le lien stratégique avec les États-Unis, qui a débuté après la guerre de juin 1967, a conféré à Israël un pouvoir international notable et une sorte d’immunité. Quoi que fasse Israël, les États-Unis le protègent. S’il y a une résolution en cours au Conseil de sécurité contre Israël, elle ne peut pas passer parce que les États-Unis, en tant que membre permanent, peuvent opposer leur veto.

Tout cela a donné à Israël un pouvoir notable, un degré d’impunité très élevé. Ensuite s’est créé dans le monde, je ne sais pas si c’est un mythe - mais étant donné que quasiment toutes les chancelleries le prennent au sérieux…- l’idée que, si des pays et des forces politiques veulent avoir de bons rapports avec les États-Unis, ils doivent avoir de bons rapports avec Israël. Il y a une propension dans nombre de pays du Tiers-monde à établir de bons rapports avec Israël de façon à ce qu’ensuite le lobby pro-israélien aux États-Unis soutienne ce pays. La Turquie l’a fait dans les années précédant le gouvernement de Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Nombre d’autres pays l’ont fait. On a vu que ces pays qui ont eu de bons rapports avec Israël ont été gratifiés par les États-Unis.

Les raisons pour lesquelles Israël est aussi puissant aux États-Unis sont dues au fait qu’Israël a établi un contrôle sur le Congrès. Israël domine le Congrès aux États-Unis ; il le domine vraiment. Depuis des décennies, les Israéliens ont créé aux USA une série de structures, d’institutions appelées lobby israélien. Ce lobby est formé de diverses organisations spécialisées : il y a le lobby au Congrès, celui qui fait pression sur la Maison Blanche, celui qui s’occupe des sommets militaires, etc.

En tenant compte qu’il y a aux États-Unis 6 millions de Juifs aisés, ces organisations qui sont financées par le monde juif disposent de fonds énormes. L’une des plus importantes, l’AIPAC, a 100.000 adhérents. Elle a un pouvoir énorme. Ses membres envoient des fax, des e-mails aux députés, aux sénateurs, recueillent des fonds.

Une chose très importante dont les journaux européens ont peu parlé, mais les journaux israéliens oui, ainsi que certains journaux juifs, est le fait que, au début de l’année 2010, les rapports entre Obama et Israël étaient très mauvais. Obama était prêt à avoir une politique de pression de plus en plus dure à l’encontre d’Israël. C’est ce qu’il semblait. En mai, Obama a complètement changé et a cédé peu à peu à toutes les requêtes des Israéliens. Les journaux israéliens ont révélé que les principaux financeurs juifs du parti démocrate avaient coupé les financements. Les milliardaires juifs, en mars 2010, ont fait savoir qu’ils ne donneraient pas un dollar si Obama ne changeait pas de politique. Obama s’est retrouvé à la veille des élections de mi-mandat en difficulté politique avec son propre parti, qui avait perdu ses financements juifs. C’est donc une source de pouvoir.

Ajoutons aussi un autre facteur de pouvoir provisoire. Dans l’ère de la globalisation économique, Israël est devenu un élément structurel de ce super-pouvoir global qui s’est développé à partir des années 80 et 90. Dans l’élite mondiale qui a le pouvoir économique, etc.…, Israël est une partie intégrante de cette structure de pouvoir. Ce pouvoir économique, plus le pouvoir stratégique militaire, dans la mesure où les États-Unis visent la domination du Moyen-Orient, renforcent le pouvoir militaire et stratégique d’Israël.

En 2003, quand les États-Unis ont attaqué l’Irak, les journalistes états-uniens et l’élite pro-israélienne disaient ouvertement que l’attaque contre l’Irak n’était que le début d’une stratégie vouée à démanteler le Moyen-Orient. Qu’après l’Irak, ce serait le tour de l’Égypte, puis de l’Arabie saoudite, etc. C’était la vision de l’époque. Ensuite la guerre contre l’Irak a mal tourné pour eux. Ce qui montre que le pouvoir militaire n’est valable que jusqu’à un certain point. Les États-Unis, malgré leur super-puissance militaire et technologique, perdent toutes les guerres. En voyant l’expérience des États-Unis nous pouvons garder à l’esprit que même pour la super-puissance israélienne les jours pourraient être comptés. Pour le moment Israël est une partie du super-pouvoir mondial. Mais ce pouvoir perd du terrain avec l’expansion du pouvoir asiatique.

Silvia Cattori : Vous avez étudié ce sujet. Vous connaissez la réalité de près. Mais pour les gens en général il est très difficile de comprendre que ce ne sont pas les Arabes et les musulmans le problème mais la politique conflictuelle israélienne. La pression continue exercée par Israël contre le programme nucléaire civil iranien en fait partie. Croyez-vous en une attaque possible de l’armée israélienne ou d’autres, contre des sites iraniens ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : Je n’y crois pas parce qu’Israël a commencé à menacer d’attaquer l’Iran au début des années 90 ; ça fait 20 ans que les autorités israéliennes répètent qu’elles vont attaquer l’Iran, que l’Iran est en train de fabriquer la bombe atomique, que l’Iran est une menace. Mais quand, dans l’histoire, un pays menace de faire la guerre et ne la fait pas pendant vingt ans, il ne la fera jamais.

Cette menace contre l’Iran sert à Israël pour maintenir un climat de tension au Proche et au Moyen-Orient. En menaçant plusieurs fois par an de faire la guerre à l’Iran, il crée une situation de péril aux États-Unis et en Europe. La probabilité qu’Israël attaque l’Iran est très faible. Mais si Israël attaque vraiment l’Iran, les conséquences mondiales seraient tellement catastrophiques que, même si tout le monde pense que la menace du gouvernement israélien tient du bluff, personne ne va vérifier si c’est vraiment du bluff.

Israël n’est pas en mesure d’attaquer l’Iran, il suffit de regarder une carte géographique. Il doit passer à travers d’autres pays. Il y a deux ans, les États-Unis firent un cadeau empoisonné aux Israéliens. Comme Israël parlait du danger iranien, les États-Unis envoyèrent en Israël un grand appareil radar qui contrôle le ciel autour du pays sur des centaines de kilomètres. Cette station est gérée par des militaires états-uniens. Elle fut présentée comme un geste de solidarité envers Israël ; en réalité les Israéliens ne sont pas très contents. Parce que les États-Unis savent exactement ce que font les avions israéliens. Les États-Unis ont affirmé de façon récurrente qu’ils ne veulent pas une guerre contre l’Iran, parce que ce serait une catastrophe.

Ce sont des périodes cycliques. De temps en temps les Israéliens sortent cette carte iranienne. On en parle pendant quelques semaines et puis ça s’arrête. Le général Moshe Yalon, vice-premier ministre et ministre pour les menaces stratégiques, a déclaré : le programme nucléaire iranien est en retard ; donc nous avons deux ou trois ans pour prendre une décision. Ceci est un message pour indiquer qu’en ce moment il n’y a pas de danger iranien. Ce danger sert aux Israéliens pour entretenir un climat de tension et contraindre les États-Unis et les Européens à faire certaines politiques. Les Israéliens espéraient créer un climat de tension suffisant pour provoquer un affrontement entre l’Iran et les pays arabes. Cette stratégie aussi a échoué.

Combien de temps a-t-il fallu aux autres puissances nucléaires pour fabriquer la bombe atomique ? Les États-Unis dans les années 40, quand on ne savait même pas à coup sûr qu’on pouvait faire la bombe atomique, y ont employé trois années. Israël a mis dix ans. Maintenant on dit depuis plus de vingt ans que l’Iran construit la bombe. C’est la bombe atomique la plus lente de l’histoire ! L’agence nucléaire qui doit contrôler la bombe atomique continue à dire qu’il n’existe pas d’indices de programme militaire.

La bombe iranienne sert à Israël pour créer des problèmes stratégiques dans la région. La grande peur d’Israël est qu’un dialogue politique ne s’ouvre entre les États-Unis et l’Iran. Après quoi l’Iran serait reconnu comme puissance régionale avec laquelle on doit parler et discuter.

L’autre puissance régionale qui est en train de s’affirmer est la Turquie. À présent Israël a des problèmes avec la Turquie parce qu’elle pourrait devenir la principale interlocutrice des États-Unis, du monde arabe et du monde musulman.

L’autre grande arme d’Israël est l’accusation d’antisémitisme. C’est une arme à laquelle les Israéliens ont un grand et immédiat recours. Toute forme de critique d’Israël est dénoncée comme acte d’antisémitisme. Au début cela faisait un grand effet ; aujourd’hui un peu moins ; tôt ou tard, elle perdra son importance. Quand on abuse de ces armes elles perdent leur valeur. Israël accuse tout le monde d’antisémitisme. Si un Juif critique Israël, on dit que c’est un Juif qui a la haine de lui-même.

A la fin, ça aussi ça s’écroulera. Parce que l’antisémitisme est une chose ; la critique d’Israël en est une autre. D’antisémitisme, il y en a peu actuellement, dans le monde. S’il resurgit c’est parce que cette façon qu’ont les Israéliens d’établir une identité entre judaïsme et « israélisme » est vraiment dégoûtante : c’est là un terrain très glissant.

Silvia Cattori : Pendant ces années d’offensive militaires par Tel Aviv, on a assisté, en France par exemple, à une intensification des accusations d’antisémitisme même de la part de militants de groupes de « juifs pour la paix ». Des accusations d’antisémitisme et de négationnisme, se sont mises à pleuvoir sur des journalistes ou des militants qui mettent en évidence l’idéologie qui a amené l’État juif à conduire des politiques inacceptables depuis le début [4]. Si comme vous le soulignez, critiquer la politique israélienne n’a rien à voir avec le racisme, que cherchent alors, en vérité, ceux qui accusent les gens d’antisémitisme ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : La grande erreur est celle commise par les communautés juives dans le monde en tant que, comme communautés juives, elles pensent avoir le droit de parler au nom d’Israël. De nombreux Juifs non Israéliens pensent pouvoir, en tant que Juifs, avoir le droit de soutenir Israël. C’est leur droit. Mais cela comporte que, tôt ou tard, on imputera aux Juifs non israéliens ce que font les gouvernements israéliens. D’autre part, quand Israël proclame qu’il veut être reconnu non seulement comme État juif, mais comme État national du peuple juif, cela veut dire qu’il demande, au niveau international, que lui soit reconnue une sorte de primauté aussi à l’égard des Juifs qui sont dans les autres pays. Cela devient très dangereux.

Silvia Cattori : Pourquoi dangereux ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : Parce qu’à la fin il est possible que, dans l’avenir, Israël veuille interférer dans la politique intérieure d’autres pays sous prétexte que ce pays a une politique hostile aux Juifs. Chirac refusa de participer à la guerre contre l’Irak. Peu de temps après le premier ministre israélien Ariel Sharon déchaîna une politique hostile à la France en avertissant les Juifs français : faites vos valises, quittez la France, venez en Israël. A l’avenir les Israéliens pourraient se comporter comme si c’était à eux qu’il revenait de définir le destin des Juifs italiens ou français.

Silvia Cattori : Cette arme de l’antisémitisme a toujours permis à Israël de mettre les gouvernements qui ne suivent pas la ligne politique de Tel Aviv sous pression. Cela fait donc vingt ans qu’Israël essaie d’inciter le reste du monde à intensifier la pression contre l’Iran pour l’isoler, le sanctionner, en empêchant son développement normal. D’après vous, y arrivera-t-il ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : Je n’en sui pas convaincu, parce que l’Iran jusqu’ici est protégé par la Chine et en partie par la Russie. Il a de bons rapports avec ses voisins : Turquie, Irak et avec des pays comme l’Azerbaïdjan et la Géorgie. Il a de bons rapports avec le Pakistan, avec l’Inde, avec les pays arabes du Golfe, en particulier avec le Qatar. Il est en train d’étendre sa présence diplomatique en Amérique latine. L’Europe suit la ligne dure : mais d’autres pays ne la suivent pas.

Les Israéliens mènent cette déstabilisation intérieure de l’Iran par le biais d’attentats, de massacres, etc. ; c’est ce qu’ils sont probablement en train de faire. Il faut voir s’ils vont y arriver.

Silvia Cattori : Israël seulement et pas les États-Unis [5] ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : Tous les deux. Mais surtout les Israéliens.

Silvia Cattori : Pourquoi « surtout les Israéliens » ? Ont-ils des moyens particuliers de pénétration et de manipulation des minorités ethniques ?

Giorgio S. Frankel : Le problème de la stabilité de l’Iran est très complexe. On peut entrer clandestinement dans plusieurs zones. Il y a des populations hostiles au gouvernement central. Le Kurdistan est la région la plus importante pour le pétrole. Une minorité sunnite y vit. Il suffit de leur fournir des financements pour l’entraînement et de leur fournir des armes. Ce genre d’opérations s’appelle « la guerre de l’ombre ». Les possibilités d’intervention sont nombreuses.

Tzipi Livni a duplicitous

Livni: The world must take action against Iran
Opposition leader Tzipi Livni embarked on a media campaign Wednesday in an effort to convince the international community to take action against Iran’s nuclear program. Speaking with The Jerusalem Post and nine different foreign media outlets, Livni called the Iranian issue, “not political.”

On Tuesday, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) released a report confirming suspicions that Iran is building parts for nuclear weapons.

“Today, the whole world faces an important test: Will they understand that Iran is a threat that must be taken care of?” Livni told the Post.

The Kadima leader explained that Iran is not a political issue.

“This is not something that a particular prime minister is advocating,” she said. “This isn’t an effort for just one side. We must try to bring a strong international decision.”

Livni’s media campaign is focusing specifically on Russia and China, in hopes of convincing the two key countries to intensify their opposition to Tehran in the UN Security Council.

“The report revealed a truth that Israel has been saying for years: Iran is in a nuclear arms race, and Iran must be stopped,” she said in interviews with Russian national television and radio, as well as China’s official news agency.

“Until now, China and Russia avoided dramatic sanctions for economic reasons,” Livni explained to the Post. “In the past, I tried to convince them, but the answer I received is that there is no proof.”

“Now there is proof that this isn’t a Zionist plot,” she added.

As far as China’s claim that the IAEA report doesn’t offer sufficient proof to act against Iran, Livni said “whoever is looking for an excuse can find it, but this is a serious report. They can’t argue with it.”

In interviews with Chinese and Russian media, as well as the BBC, AP, Reuters, CNN, Moscow Television and Sky News, Livni explained that “Tehran’s behavior is a problem for the entire free world. It is time to act.”

“Iran is not only an Israeli problem; it never was. It is a problem for the whole world, and if Tehran will reach its goals, the whole world will pay the price,” she said.

“World leaders must work together and take action,” Livni added. “Make the obvious conclusions from this report. You cannot claim that you don’t have enough information.”

“Iran must be stopped. The time to act is now. There is no longer a dilemma on this issue,” she said.

Earlier Wednesday, Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) called the IAEA report “an opportunity for the free world to take action.”

Speaking from the US, Mofaz told Army Radio that he thinks “the time has come to intensify sanctions and paralyze the Iranian economy.”

“The report exposed the true face of Iran and its intentions,” the Kadima MK said. “Anyone who thinks he’s immune [to the Iranian threat] is making a mistake.”

Mofaz, who was born in Tehran and moved to Israel at age 9, explained that Iran’s missile range could reach most European capitals, and will bring “a balance of terror in the Middle East.”

He contended that “military action of any kind, particularly from Israel, is the last and worst course of action at this time, but all options must be on the table and ready.”

“We will not accept a nuclear Iran,” Mofaz said.

Livni behind closed doors: Iran nukes pose little threat to Israel
Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said a few months ago in a series of closed discussions that in her opinion that Iranian nuclear weapons do not pose an existential threat to Israel, Haaretz magazine reveals in an article on Livni to be published Friday.
Livni also criticized the exaggerated use that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is making of the issue of the Iranian bomb, claiming that he is attempting to rally the public around him by playing on its most basic fears. Last week, former Mossad chief Ephraim Halevy said similar things about Iran.

The article also reveals for the first time a document Livni prepared and sent to Olmert a few months after the Second Lebanon War proposing a new division of labor between the two. “Enclosed is a proposal for work procedures between us, with the aim of providing an answer to Israel’s strategic needs and facilitating early planning and the formulation of coordinated Israeli positions … within the framework of cooperative relations, full transparency and continuous mutual updates,” wrote Livni.

She described in the document a number of required arrangements: “The prime minister and the foreign minister will hold regular work meetings at least once a week.” In an allusion to her absence form critical discussions during the war in Lebanon, she wrote: “The foreign minister will be invited to meetings with the prime minister on security matters and other meetings with serious implications.”

The most important part of the document relates to the talks with the Palestinians. Livni wrote: “The foreign minister shall represent the prime minister and the government of Israel, and will act on their behalf as the director of the dialogue with the relevant Palestinian representatives, and in accordance with the policy and methods to be coordinated in advance with the prime minster, while keeping him informed.”

It is reasonable to assume that Olmert’s decision to appoint Livni as head of the negotiating team with the Palestinians at the Annapolis summit is connected to the document.

The Haaretz article also reveals for the first time a draft of a document prepared for Livni by her advisor, Dr. Tal Becker of the Foreign Ministry, who is slated to serve as a senior member of the negotiating team with the Palestinians. The draft, named the Diplomatic Horizon, is pessimistic about the chances of reaching a permanent solution in the near future.

Op-ed: Brutal killings in Libya, Syria and Egypt a sharp contrast from “Jewish values”

ed note–A year ago when the “Arab revolutions” began, one of the predictions we made here at TUT was that Jewish interests would use this as a means of showing how ‘barbaric’ and violent the arabs are, while in peaceful, democratic Israel, nothing even similar takes place. It took a while, but our predictions have been proven correct with the following article.

The real reason for running it however is to show the truly mad, pathological nature of Jewish thinking. As the reader will see in the following piece, the author–fully-delusional about the “moral superiority” of Jewish values–COMPLETELY NEGATES FROM DISCUSSION the oceans of blood that Jews have shed, and particularly in the last century, including both world wars, the massacre of hundreds of millions by Jewish communism and the present bloodbath taking place in the Middle East, and all the result of JEWISH POWER AND “JEWISH VALUES”.

Our point in bringing this up for discussion is a theme that we cover often on both this website and its accompanying internet radio program, which is that Jewish thinking is a form of religiously-induced mental illness, no different in many respects from paranoid schizophrenia, where its victims embrace a form of reality that simply does not exist. The following article is but one proof of this theme in the author’s attempt to elevate “Jewish values” above those of others while ignoring all the evil and injustice that has taken place throughout history as a result of those “values”. Keep in mind also as you read this that the author cites the biblical character “Joshua” as the ultimate righteous warrior, despite the fact that-according to the Old Testament narrative–Joshua and his army of Chosenite butchers massacred 31 villages of people and enslaved those who managed to survive.

The nature of a nation is measured, among other things, but its conduct in times of anger. When our sages applied this wisdom to individuals, they meant that anger brings out the dark forces latent within a person. Fury may often be accompanied by lack of control, and then we discover the truth about the individual in question.

I’m still under the impression of the images of the lynching of Muammar Gaddafi in Libya. Don’t get me wrong: I am not teary-eyed and my heart is not broken over Gaddafi’s demise. Every dog has its day, even the one who lived like a king and dubbed himself as Africa’s king of kings. Yet the point is the very lynching in and of itself, which was accompanied by loss of control and hysterical shouts by the masses: “Allahu Akbar.”

When I also think of the sights from Cairo’s Tahrir Square, including the gang rape of a Western journalist, and when I add to this the images from Syria, where Assad is mercilessly butchering his own people, as well as the image of that scumbag who perpetrated the lynch in Ramallah waving his blood-stained hands, as well as the scumbags who butchered the Fogel family, including a three-month-old baby, and the sights of burned buses and restaurants – one cannot but fully realize what our sages meant when they spoke of realities revealed in times of anger.

Upon entering the land and ahead of the people of Israel’s first battle, God issued two grave warnings to our leader, Joshua: First, remember those who helped us and refrain from being ungrateful. The second warning was to avoid looting. Indeed, God warned Joshua not to exploit the atmosphere of war to embark on a moral disintegration beyond the required red lines, even at a time of anger and war.

Baby killers cheered

War is a situation that may bring dark forces out of man and society. Wars in the ancient and modern world have been accompanied by rape, looting and other disgraceful phenomena. This is precisely what God warned Joshua against – in war too, one must preserve one’s humanity and gratitude, and avoid looting.

Above all stood the notion that was to accompany Joshua, the people and the army throughout that period, serving as a lighthouse and a moral compass and anchor: “Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

The people passed the test of gratitude, but failed the looting test, and paid a heavy price for it. Indeed, this is the moral level that was required of Joshua’s troops. This level turned into a high moral bar for all Jewish fighters over the generations.

Given that the moral and inner world of those who face the Jews, as revealed in the lynches and at the squares, is so remote and shows such grim realities in respect to human life and its sanctity, one wonders: If they are capable of mercilessly massacring their own people and brutally butchering their former leader in front of the cameras, and if their role models are the scumbags with blood on their hands, what would be the fate of those who fall into their hands and are not members of their people? What will happen to those who are not members of their faith?

The answer is clear, and the images of the Fogel family and thousands of others in restaurants and on buses prove it.

War is not only physical and military; it is also and maybe mostly moral. Today, our war pits a people that sanctifies life to the point of paying huge prices in order to return one boy back home against a culture that cheers baby killers at the squares.
